Dropship N Paste ("the Extension") is a browser extension developed by MySellerDesk that helps dropshippers autofill shipping address forms. This privacy policy explains what data the Extension collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Key principle: Address and contact data parsed from your clipboard is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
📋 Data We Collect
Account Information (Required)
When you sign in or start a free trial, we collect:
- Email address — Used for authentication, subscription management, and trial eligibility
- Password — Transmitted securely over HTTPS to our server for authentication; not stored locally
- Device identifier — A randomly generated UUID stored locally on your device, used to prevent free trial abuse across multiple installs
Clipboard Content (Required for Core Functionality)
The Extension reads your clipboard when you explicitly trigger it by:
- Clicking the extension icon in your toolbar
- Using a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+C or Alt+Shift+V)
- Clicking a "Copy Address" button injected by the extension
- Right-clicking and using the extension's context menu
Clipboard text is analyzed locally on your device to detect and parse shipping addresses. The raw and parsed address data is stored in your browser's local storage only.
Important: Clipboard content is never transmitted to our servers. All address parsing happens entirely on your device.
Website Interaction Data (Stored Locally Only)
The Extension analyzes form fields on websites you visit to identify address input fields. It stores learned field mappings (which form fields correspond to which address fields) in your browser's local storage. This data is associated with website domain names and is never sent to our servers.

🌐 Server Communication
The Extension communicates exclusively with servers operated by MySellerDesk:
- mysellerdesk.com — Authentication, subscription management, and field rule updates
- autofill.mysellerdesk.com — Autofill rule configuration
The Extension periodically contacts our servers to:
- Verify your subscription status (using your email address)
- Check session validity (using your email address)
- Download updated field detection rules (no personal data sent)
All communication occurs over encrypted HTTPS connections.

- We do not collect browsing history or URLs you visit
- We do not track your activity across websites
- We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services
- We do not collect or transmit your clipboard content to our servers
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties
- We do not use cookies or web tracking within the Extension
- We do not collect financial or payment information through the Extension
🔒 Data Storage & Security
Local Storage
Address data, site mappings, settings, and your device ID are stored in your browser's local extension storage. This data remains on your device and is removed when you uninstall the Extension.
Synced Storage
Your authentication state (email, login status, plan, and trial information) is stored in your browser's synced storage. If you use browser sync (e.g., Firefox Sync), this data may sync across your devices. This data can be cleared by signing out of the Extension.
Server-Side
Your email address, subscription status, and device ID (for trial users) are stored on our servers hosted by MySellerDesk. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing.
⚖ Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — Contact us to request a copy of any personal data we hold
- Delete your data — Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data. Contact us to request deletion of your server-side account data
- Withdraw consent — You can stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it
- Data portability — Contact us to request your data in a portable format
🚸 Children's Privacy
The Extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
